Celebration of Life

Dennis didn’t want a big funeral or memorial, where people are sad and mourning, but with a heart as big as his, and such a huge number of friends and family, it makes sense to come together, so Dennis’ family has approved a Celebration of Life gathering at the Gold Country Fairgrounds (info at http://www.goldcountryfair.com/, or map here).

This will be a casual Celebration of Life gathering with pictures, slides, and short speeches to remember Dennis with laughs and smiles. He loved his friends and family, and he loved the Rubicon Trail and four-wheeling — and he pursued all these with energy and a smile.  You can speak up and share, or just listen, smile, and laugh along.

We’ll add details as they become more clear, but reserve some time Sunday, December 14, starting at 2:00 in the afternoon and running for a good while afterwards. Stop in and spend some time with Dennis’ family and friends. The Auburn Jeep Club (AJC), Friends of the Rubicon (FOTR), Rubicon Rockheads club, and Rubicon Trail Foundation (RTF) will be working together to present an upbeat gathering that would make Dennis proud.
